Lisa Quast is founder and CEO of Career Woman, Inc. During her years of groundbreaking business and career success in traditionally male-dominated companies and industries (former Executive Vice President and General Manager of a $12 billion global company), Lisa’s experiences developed in her a passion for helping other women achieve personal and professional success.
She is the author of the award-winning book “Your Career, Your Way: Personal Strategies to Achieve Your Career Aspirations”, is a sought-after business consultant (strategic planning, marketing, and talent development), professional speaker, trainer, and career coach, and in November 2010 was honored in New York City by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business with the "Blog of the Year" award for her "Career Memos" blog. Lisa was also recognized with Finalist Awards in the "Women Helping Women" and "Mentor of the Year" categories. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program for women executives and entrepreneurs. In 2007, Lisa earned the "A Woman to Celebrate" award for achievements and involvement in the community from the ACT Theatre, YWCA of Seattle-King and Snohomish Counties, the Seattle Times and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and in 2005 was named one of the top 40 under 40 business leaders in Seattle by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Background
For the last 20+ years, Lisa has completed projects around the world in areas such as strategic planning, marketing, sales, service, operations, business development, and human resources. She spent the last ~14 years of her career working for Philips Healthcare, a $12 billion division of Royal Philips Electronics. She was the Vice President of Marketing for their Global Services business and most recently, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Strategy Planning, another global position.
Lisa is is widely recognized both as a business consultant who successfully helps companies improve business, processes and people, and as an individual committed to helping women succeed by sharing her experience through career and life coaching, mentoring, training, and professional speaking.

Lisa is a certified Executive Coach (CCE designation) and has over 15 years of coaching experience working with employees in all levels of the workplace, from entry level to the executive level.
Lisa is a graduate of three modeling academies and an advanced acting program, has modeled professionally (runway, print, and television) as a petite model, and has competed in and won academic scholarships and awards in numerous pageants (at the state and national level within the United States). Her extensive background allows Lisa the ability to work in the area of personal image management, focusing on wardrobe, hair and make-up for the workplace and for speaking engagements and meetings around the world.
Lisa develops presentations and coaches speakers for internal company meetings, annual meetings, and various media events such as analyst briefings and television and newspaper interviews. Hobbies and Interests
Lisa Quast resides in the Seattle, Washington area with her husband and three daughters. She is creative and artistic, loves to paint, write, read, and participate in sports. She is a former competitive gymnast, body builder, power lifter, and baton twirler (earning 6th place at the 1980 United States National Championships). Lisa is also a former gymnastics coach and a personal trainer. Currently, in her free time she enjoys running, weightlifting (just for fun now), hiking, biking and skiing. She loves traveling, learning about other cultures, and has donated hundreds of hours in community service to mentor women to help them achieve their career aspirations.
